"There was a nice, quiet, atmosphere, just like being at home. The place was beautiful and well cleaned! Excellent breakfast and conversations with our hostess (the owner). My husband and I appreciated the location too - walking distance to either downtown or the nearby lake. We gladly walked downtown to browse the shops and saw a movie at the local theater. "We had a great time in Manistee! The house was beautiful - we especially loved drinking coffee on the large porch and relaxing there at night before going to bed (and petting the adorable cats). It was super close to downtown as well which made it convenient. The food/coffee in the morning was delicious. And the host was incredibly nice & welcoming! "This was our third year here for a week. We love love the new deck and siding! Such a treasure I hate sharing how much we love this place for fear it will be booked up when I want to stay. Very homey and comfortable! It’s the next best thing to owning the place myself. ur favorite place to get away for a peaceful week.
