"The B&B is basic but was clean and the host was very friendly with information on where to visit and eat. It is clean and the hosts were friendly and offered a number of homemade panini and cakes for breakfast. It is definitely a personal opinion, but the mattress in the main room (never checked the twin beds) was super uncomfortable). Thank you Nicola! Note that we ended up here because when we arrived to the B&B Le 5 Torri in Trapani we realized that the amenities promised were not available...

"Excellent, atmospheric property in the middle of Trapani. Staff was very helpful. There is no elevator in the building so there are stairs. Rooms were good. Hotel restaurant was very good and convenient. Breakfast was excellent--one of the best of our trip."

"Even though we were a bit suspicious about the location, it was a good one night stay before heading to the AirPort. It was quiet and very clean. The staff was very nice and helpfull and breakfast was good. Only small minus was that there weren’t any blanket in the bed"

"Valentina is an excellent host to homely B&B that is kept clean and tidy.Garden provides ingredients to home cooked meals available on request in the evening.Accommodating and friendly family.A hire car would facilitate easy access to other locations .Local buses from the village square (10 minutes on foot ) to Trapani .Enjoyed my stay in what is a rural location .Grazie!"

"10 minute drive to San Vito, 30 mins to Lo Zingaro. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Only negative was check in - advised to contact the property 72 hours in advance to organise but got no response. Website said front desk only manned till 1.30pm so had to make sure we were there by then. "

"Very easy to find and just 15 min walk from Port Trapani bus stop. Flexible check in and absolutely superb friendly and helpful young lady Francesca to welcome you like a family. "We had a wonderful time, it’s hard to describe how beautiful the setting is. The view and the swimming cove are perfect. The apartment is well equipped and very clean, we slept well and Hanni was very kind. We had a problem with accessing our vrbo account, and generally with communication because we had lost a phone whilst hiking, the family were very understanding. "We were delighted with our choice of Marina Di Petrolo. The hotel is bright, smart and very clean. Our family room for my wife, daughter and I was a very good size, nicely decorated and smart. The staff were so nice and friendly at all times, and were always willing to help. We were grateful for the wonderful room cleaning staff who tidied and cleaned our rooms every day. There was an excellent Italian breakfast option every day, including freshly-made coffee of your choice. The location is not completely central but all the main areas of the town are easily accessible by foot, which is better to do anyway! Nevertheless there's a spectacular view of the bay from both the breakfast room and our own room. We didn't use the swimming pool because it was winter, but it looked nice. It would have been nice to have had the option to have meals other than breakfast, but it wasn't difficult to find other places around town (including a terrific pizza delivery place directly opposite!). We would love to come back to Sicily and if we are in this part of the island, Marina di Petrolo will be a definite place to revisit."

"We enjoyed the full use of the apartment with onsite parking. Once you get the hang of driving in small Sicilian towns, it becomes east to get around. Balestrate has a beautiful beachfront and many lovely restaurants. Our hostess was helpful and friendly. Mille grazie, Rosalia!"
