"Fantastic boutique style but large hotel just a couple of minutes walk from the huge Wiener hbf train station. It’s not bang central Vienna and other areas might have slightly better restaurant options but it worked great for us. A simple direct train or bus from the airport then very easy to find the hotel and a brilliant choice of transport including the superb tram service outside the hotel door. Hotel rooms are lovely with a trademark round porthole style window. The bed is huge with separate duvets which is inspired! Nice bathroom with brilliant shower and also great toiletries. Only tiny issue was the coffee mugs not having handles so impossible to hold straight away as too hot! Sort that out Mooons! We did not use the hotel for breakfast as we found an amazing cafe Goldegg a 2 minute walk round the corner. The rooftop bar is lovely in good weather but the main bar was a little dull in-the evening. A very minor issue when laid against all the other excellent attributes of Mooons. Very highly recommended"

"Absolute gem of a find in Vienna. Slightly out the centre, and located in the Bio Quarter , but easy to get to on the U3 Metro line or the Tram.. it's a gorgeous Brazilian inspired hotel, and makes you feel like you are in Rio. Conservation and sustainability is key with this hotel and a percentage of profits goes towards protecting the Amazon Rainforests and Education. The staff are wonderful and the food/drink is fantastic. Special shout-out to Horus and Nini in the Lapa bar/cafe for a hospitable evening ... Top marks "

"Great hotel next to the train station. 12 minutes from the city center. 2 minutes from Belvedere. Helpful and friendly staff. Clean and spacious room with plenty of storage space. Complementary water and fruits in the reception. Interesting concept that the reception and the bar is in the same spot. We enjoyed the wellness room with swimming pool, sauna and a gym. "
