"Thomas is an amazing host, as from the get go he was very responsive & helpful with any queries. The Chalet Barbara is a truly magical place and the family history attached to it makes is even more special! The hike up there is a bit of a challenge with luggage if you are on foot, as we had to climb during very heavy rain - but the views certainly makes it all worth it. Stay here if you get the chance - you are sure to love it! :) "

"It was an amazing property with a great view. You could walk right down to the waterfront and several restaurants. It was extremely clean and well-maintained. There was parking on site. The only drawback was that it did not have a washer and dryer, which seemed to be advertised in the Listing. The owner seemed genuinely surprised by this and it was not a major issue. Overall, I would highly recommend this property."

"We had a wonderful vacation. This house was located in a quiet little town with very friendly locals. We rented a vehicle and was able to see a lot of Switzerland sites from this location. The house was very clean with a fully stocked kitchen. There was a pasture with cows behind the house...very peaceful. We highly recommend this house!"

"My family and I really enjoyed our stay in Frutigen. The chalet was perfect for the four of us in a great location with plenty of amenities and walking distance to the train station. Interlaken was just an hour on the train. The chalet had everything we needed with ample cooking facilities dishwasher we were able to wash our clothes. The kitchen was kitted out better than my kitchen at home. Really loved our stay and will go back again in the future."

"We enjoyed a three night stay in this pastoral farmhouse apartment. Our hosts Marianne & Fritz were both welcoming and accommodating. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. This farmhouse is tucked away outside the small village of Oberbalm in the foothills of the Berner Oberlands. However, it is only a 25 minute drive to Berne city center, and about an hour from Interlaken. We would definitely stay here again."
