"My kids and I stayed an extended weekend at this property. The facilities were as listed and it was only a 5 minute drive to the ski slopes. We would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay up on the north shore. I would definitely recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle in the winter as the driveway is steep and slippery in spots."

"It was our 2nd stay & we just love this cabin. It is a perfect mix of rustic with just the right amount of updates to really be "rustic luxury." Beds are comfortable & cabin is clean. You can not beat the location! 30 feet from lake superior! Views are amazing! Close to lutsen for skiing, and close to cascade falls for hiking. You don't want to miss this one!"

"Over all the property was exactly as expected. Very comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen is wonderful and very well equipped. The arcade games were a big hit with the kids. Our only complaint is that the lower level and the two main floor bedrooms were very cold. Some rooms only reaching around 60 degrees, sometimes only in the 50’s. Super cold weekend so maybe.this is to be expected. Maybe some space heaters?? Overall we loved the house!"

"We came up for our yearly snowmobile vacation and the cabin was comfortable for 4 adults and 3 larger dogs. John is very easy to contact and checks in periodically during stay to make sure everything is going okay. Not far from snowmobile trails so you can ride right to the trails . We will definitely be back!!!!"

"Beautiful cabin with easy check in process. The furnitures, beds, towels were all comfortable and cozy. The bathrooms and showers were wonderful. Things are labeled and easy to find. Easy access to ski hill. Host was very gracious and allowed us a late check out and a potential extra night with no extra charge due to a winter storm. We loved this cabin and will definitely be staying again!"
