The overlook area of the mountains and valley was beautiful and just made everything more amazing. My boyfriend loved it so much that he asked me to marry him there. "Our stay was very nice. There were a few things I was surprised about, like only 2 of the 6 beds were made. It was an extra burden having to make 4 beds in a row before putting the kids to bed. We were asked not to go hiking in the woods, in an email, which was one of the main reasons for our stay, to play in the woods. The number we were given for emergencies was disconnected. The house itself was nice. Everything else regards to the rental was extra work."

"Perfect getaway. The property was absolutely gorgeous. The house was completely stocked and clean. The river is a few steps out the door. It rained the entire time so we didnt fish much. The host susan went above and beyond. If you're looking to be off grid this is the place for you. We are already planning our next trip(we plan to stay a lot longer next time. "

"This is a comfortable, small house on a gravel road in the woods near Blue Mountain State Park. Kitchen is well furnished. Property manager Tori was very helpful when we couldn't figure out how to switch from a/c to heat. A great back deck with shade from big trees. Mostly quiet--an occasional car goes by on a bigger road nearby, and one afternoon there was target practice or fire crackers. A good place to relax and get away, but the wifi works if you want to be connected."

"Myself, my husband, my brother and his wife, stayed at the cabin from Friday night until Monday morning. All of us greatly enjoyed our stay. The spacious cabin is beautifully decorated, well furnished, and clean. The beds and the rest of the furniture are quite comfortable. The cabin is very quiet and peaceful. The enclosed porch off of the main bedroom is lovely and I regret I didn't have time to enjoy it more. The cabin is very close to Shawnee State Park, and is also close to the lovely...
