"Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung "

"We really enjoyed our stay. It was nice that the home was traditional with modern updates to the kitchen and bathroom. We were too busy to get to the restaurants in town, but the bakery was delicious and the town was beautiful to walk through. We appreciated the welcome bottle of wine, bread, and hanutas! The 6am clock tower bells caught us off guard, but after a couple days we were able to sleep through them. Overall we're so happy with our stay and would highly recommend to others!"

In de buurt kan je mooi wandelen tussen de bossen en de wijngaarden. Een supermarkt in het nabije dorp en mooie historische steden op een uur rijden."

"The hosts, Jurgen and Irina were very welcoming, friendly and informative about how to make the most of our week in this beautiful estate. Most of the literature is in German but can be easily translated using a suitable German camera translation app. The sauna and swimming pool are amazing and spotlessly clean, as was the apartment which was equipped with pretty much everything you need to have a comfortable stay. " A nice family run hotel in a charming quiet medevial Franconian village along the Main River with vinyards on the hills above. Seems to have been fairly recently renovated. Friendly English speaking staff. We were able to upgrade our room to a much larger room. The busy hotel restaurant is the big draw here and we ate breakfast (included buffet) and dinner there 3 times. Many good quality food choices. We spoke to a young professional couple at the table next to us and they come to this hotel restaurant for dinner from 10 miles away on a monthly basis so that says something. After staying 3 nights in Wertheim we moved our base to this hotel to cover other areas including visiting: Wurzburg, Rothenburg, Iphofen (restaurant: Kulinarium), and other surrounding area towns. Easy 10 minute drive to main highway. The hotel has a courtyard with parking for a fee but we parked for free 5 minutes down the street along the Main River and enjoyed watching the ships on the river and walking through the old town. Typical Franconian dish we would recommend trying is "Schaufele" which is tender and delicious pork shoulder."
