"Loved the hotel and the city. Staff were very good and helpful. We went on Christmas eve when everything was closed and staff helped finding open restaurants. Rooms were clean and breakfast was extensive. Room felt a bit pricey with charge for an extra person. Its convenient located very close walk to train station and walking distance to old town "

"Fantastic old properly but with modern features. Some old hotels show signs of age but the owners of the Eisenhut have made sure that things are clean and new without spoiling the charm of a century’s old building . Brilliant location , very attentive staff. No cons at all with the hotel, but for info don’t follow set nav when Christmas markets are on , all surrounding roads around the hotel are blocked off . "Prefer to have a microwave in the room to be satisfied With making my own cup of tea (which I bring from home). What happened with wash cloths? First time Ive been in a hotel who don’t supply them. Is this a European thing? If so, funny because my Mom was from here and she introduced us to them! (Also sold as sets in Canada for decades.) "

"We visited here on a 2 week winter trip to Germany. Front desk staff was friendly and enthusiastic. They greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was especially spectacular! This hotel was the unanimous favorite of our family. On top of that, Rothenburg ob der Tauber was super cool. We loved it here and wanted to come back and stay longer."

"Wir hatten eine wunderbare Auszeit auf dem Hof. Die Ankunft im Nebel und Schneetreiben lief reibungslos und unkompliziert. Wir haben die Ruhe auf dem Hof sehr genossen. Auch mit Hofhündin Elli haben wir uns schnell angefreundet. Sie beißt nicht, ist aber sehr verschmust. Auch mit Ehrenfriede hatten wir schöne Gespräche. Wenn es passt, kommen wir gerne wieder!"
