"This place is literally falling apart. It hasn’t been updated since the 90s. The mattress was rock hard and the sheets paper thin. The curtains were dusty and dirty. The towels look like they have been through a lot. No toiletries in the ancient bathroom and the shower curtain was moldy. The breakfast was just awful with stale bread, powdered juice mix, and watered down coffee. It was served in a stuffy dining room that reeked of cigarettes. Oh and there was a mouse in the hallway. "This hotel is very lgbt friendly. I had to flee another hotel due to homophobia and bigotry and the Hotel Sousseana was an excellent replacement and a safe haven too . Very friendly reception staff who were knowledgeable about the local area and respected my pronouns as a non binary person. Excellent breakfast every morning, friendly staff who respected my pronouns and great restaurants nearby . Multi cultural mix of people and a nice retro hotel . What’s not to like "
