Loved skimming through some of the old books...so informative. The check-in process was a little hectic, check in time was 3pm, but our room wasn't ready. The caretaker was very friendly. We only had to wait about 20 minutes. "We had a lovely stay as a couple for 2 nights. All of the staff were very welcoming and the breakfast was always served fresh and hot. We enjoyed conversing with other guests over the breakfast and the individual German pancakes served on the first morning were scrumptious! "
