"My husband and I stayed here for a night. Communication was great. Beautiful old inn. The best part was the owners daughter/husband are chefs! Like...gourmet chefs! "We chose this bed and breakfast based on others’ reviews- and you should, too! Our room was lovely and homey and had everything you’d want or need available. Mike and Julie are spectacularly thoughtful hosts. We felt welcomed, cared for, and a little bit spoiled :) during our three day stay. Will absolutely stay here again on our next visit to VT! "

"A lovely four day stay in Vermont. Inn was perfect, with gardens to enjoy and lots of lounges and nooks to spend time and read. We had a suite with a separate sitting room, which allowed us to have our daughter accompany us on a last minute visit. Paul and his staff are super accommodating and are genuinely friendly hosts. Paul also cooks all the breakfasts which are superb! Different breakfasts each day, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious!"

"Lots of things were lovely; fantastic room service food (unbelievably fresh and delicious, better than anywhere I’ve ever eaten in a hotel while traveling), beautiful serene natural setting, and wonderful design of the buildings plus COOKIES and tea in the afternoon. "I loved the room we stayed in. It was such a comfortable bed as well as the pillows. The bathroom was large and just about everything in our room was like a storybook. Loved skimming through some of the old books...so informative. The only thing I wished we knew is it was difficult to find a place to eat as we were there Monday thru Wednesday morning and no eateries on Main Street was opened. "Property seemed well-maintained and cared for. We were only there a short time, but it was well put together. The check-in process was a little hectic, check in time was 3pm, but our room wasn't ready. The caretaker was very friendly. We only had to wait about 20 minutes. We weren't aware this property was a VRBO, and not a regular Inn. "

"We had a lovely stay as a couple for 2 nights. All of the staff were very welcoming and the breakfast was always served fresh and hot. We enjoyed conversing with other guests over the breakfast and the individual German pancakes served on the first morning were scrumptious! "

"Sat outside for a few minutes at a table and chairs at the fire was awesome. The person at check in was extremely welcoming, cookies in the lobby. People relaxing. Inside looks pretty and clean. Beds are pretty comfy, room is spacious. They accommodated my requests. The little store downstairs is perfect, have snacks, frozen meals, earrings and.. post cards!!!! Only a couple things is that the showers maybe need to be recocked? They look they arent as nice as everything else.Will definitely stay here again. Excited for breakfast. "
