"The property was generally very pleasing and in a good location. We had to cut our stay short because of an emergency operation that was required for me and so unfortunately we were unable to enjoy the property or local area fully. The host was very attentive to this and I found her responsive overall. Good features were the pool and surrounding area, bathrooms, size of bedrooms and open plan lounge area. "A superbly presented house with great amenities and privacy within the house. With a hot tub, sauna and pool accessible, whatever the weather brings there is something for all to enjoy. Very safe and friendly for babies and pet dogs, with a secure garden and minimal excess furniture that babies could pull on and could fall on them. The owners who lived next door were extremely helpful without being intrusive. The welcome gifts of wine and cheese were much appreciated. We would highly recommend!"

"We had a wonderful time. Frederic has a very special place; beautifully and thoughtfully presented with everything we could need for us and our two young children. The surroundings are hard to beat too - we explored local vineyards, castles and swimming lakes as well as lovely Chinon a short drive away. We wish we could have stayed longer - we would love to return and tick more off the list!"

"An amazing place in my favourite red wine region of France (which alas at the moment I cannot drink). To be in this great setting when the vines are just being picked was a joy. Frederic the owner is a wonderful gracious host and it made it a more personal stay to have the host nearby if needed, and be left his own wine to drink. Quality hotel

"Quality rooms at a reasonable price. The hotel is very large and seems a bit ‘corporate’ but it’s a nice hotel and very conveniently located. We didn’t eat in the restaurant so can’t comment. There are lots of restaurants and services nearby."

Only a one night stay

"We booked the hotel to attend a music concert at the Futurascope Arena. The hotel is clean and tidy with excellent facilities. The bar has tables with games on them which was a unique touch. Check-in was easy, staff where very friendly and efficient. Room was a good size, bed was comfortable. The only downsides were that their were no drink making facilities in the room and the bathroom and toilet area were tired. We would use the hotel again. "

"This was a one night stop over and so we didn’t expect much. Room was OK, breakfast also OK. Lack of how water in the room was a definite issue, we didn’t find out about this until our morning showers by which time it was too late to do anything. "
