"My husband and I so enjoyed our stay in Heidi and Paul’s delightful gite. The situation of the gite is stunning. Everything you need inside is provided with outside furniture to enjoy the views on a pleasant patio. Communication with Heidi was easy and she always responded immediately to any query. Brigitte sent us clear directions (in French but one can easily translate it using devices) and the apartment was easy to find and get to on foot from the train station for me, my wife and our 11 year old daughter. "This apartment was immaculate and comfortable. Everything was close by, including the free parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this apartment in Sarlat. One thing to note, the apartment does not have a dryer to go with the washing machine, but it did have a drying rack to use. It worked for us because we had some sunny days."

"Such a beautiful place in a beautiful town. We visited as a family of 5 with 3 school-age children. The apartment had space for everyone and was very clean. Communication with the manager was very easy and checkin went smoothly. This town and region are beautiful. We should have stayed a week at least! Lots of food options within a 2min walk. "We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."

"Wonderfully situated within the Dordogne valley with lots of chateaux and other tourist attractions to visit. The only downside of this hotel was the same menu every evening. They usually change it once a month! Also, no assistance to gain access to their wonderful swimming pools as there were no steps to get in our out. This was commented upon when leaving and they assured us this would be brought to the attention of the management. I sincerely hope so as I was not the only one to require help to get lowered in and hauled back out!"
