" I arrived by car in the evening. The hotel is poorly signed and I had problems locating it. Otherwise nice location with pleasant staff and great rooms. For the number of rooms I find 2 elevators too little - too much waiting time. "

"Nice location in heart of the city. Very walkable, easy to get to restaurants, bars, shops. Hotel staff are friendly. Room was comfortable, but a bit small. I upgraded to a double, and a bit difficult to move around. Clean and updated though."

"We walked to the hotel from the train station. We went out the main doors of the train station. We could have made it much easier on ourselves if we went to the lower level and crossed under the tracks. Otherwise, the hotel was great. Not too expensive, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed."

"Great location, 50m from National Opera House. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast ok, but a bit limited. Rooms were clean but quite small. 8/10 overall. "

"The Normandie hits all the right notes. It overlooks Bordeaux's streetcar hub and the Girond Estuary, is adjacent to the jardin public and the head of Rue Sainte Catherine, and is equidistant to the funky dining neighborhoods of The Chartrons and Saint-Pierre. The Bar a Vins, sponsored by the Bordeaux wind industry, is next door. Can't be beat."

"Great location and the loveliest staff. They were really helpful with our booking, interested in our trip and gave advice about the area. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The location was good for us and the trams were nearby so could get to anywhere we needed easily including the airport."

" Quirky decoration throughout, confortable and clean. Staff were welcoming. Located in the city centre, so easy access by foot. There's no access by car due to barriers on the streets, so we had to use a local car park. At night, the area around the hotel didn't feel particularly welcoming due to homelessness, but this was a problem all around the city."

"Excellent hôtel pour week-end en amoureux. Le personnel est au petit soin et très réactif. Le restaurant sur le toit de l'hôtel avec une magnifique vue sur la GARONNE est savoureux. Les serveurs sont très professionnels et à l'écoute du client. Proche de la salle de concert arkea arena, c'est une excellente halte du repos bien mérité."

"Ideal location if arriving from the airport. Under 100m to walk from the tram stop which costs under €2. Easy walking distance from the centre. Plenty of grocery stores nearby too. The staff are very friendly."
