"Everything was excellent - service was helpful but non-invasive, property was beautiful, food at restaurant was extremely good by two picky NYers standards - my only issue was the cabins were not very well soundproofed. If you were traveling with friends or family, probably not an issue, but on a couples trip to be able to hear the entire couple next door’s conversation, TV viewing choices, etc etc felt a lil “not the point” of the rustic, isolated cabin. "House was suitable for 5plus people. Great area close to a lot of things. Red Maple Vineyard nearby. Clean and well equipped with whatever you would need. "

"The house is located off Woodland valley stream and has a nice outdoor area to sit by the fire and enjoy nature. The home is over 100 years old and although it is updated it still retains its old world charm."

"Property was very nice, up to date, fine amenities. It would not be a good place for elders with mobility issues or toddlers- too many steps- split level, sunken living room"

"The lodge was amazing. The rooms were huge and very very spacious, including the bathrooms. Extremely clean and the mattress and pillows were the most comfortable ones I’ve ever come across in a hotel room. The staff was very friendly and warm. Unfortunately they were shutting down for business and I was apparently the last guest to checkout! I wish they’d keep it running. I’d go back to the catskills just to stay there!"
