"spacious room with comfortable beds and an amazing view. delicious buffet breakfast. a bit old-school hotel in that they still use physical key on a gigantic keychain but kind of quaint in a way. our stay was perfect and the only gripe was there's no kettle nor bottled water provided, only a small metal cup for heating water for tea."

Loved the Onsen, loved that we could cook our own dinner, the hikes, went for a run. This is one of our favourite places and we would highly recommend. "The room was spacious, but going up and down from the bunk bed was inconvenient. It would be better if the big table was taken away and replaced it w/ twin beds. The big table could be dangerous as someone can get injured by the pointed edges. Also, the bathroom was rather small and its floor was noisy when you step on it."

"The room was on the top floor overlooking the lake but the trees blocked most of the view. The size of the room was good and the bed was comfortable. It would have been good to have smaller pillows available in the room. I ended up rolling up a towel to make a smaller pillow. Meals were included in the stay and there was plenty of variety. Only real bummer is that I think I left my Prescription Progressive Glasses in the room and can't get anyone to pick up the phones & check!"

"If you decide to stay at Sansuiso, you have made the right decision. This is a beautiful onsen, with a variety of different type of waters, pools on the edge of the river. We stayed in the Japanese room which is always spacious and comfortable. Do yourself a favour and do the half board (or dinner) it will be one of the best meals you may have ever eaten. The staff is so friendly and helpful. "
