"Absolutely loved this hotel, sadly only stayed a couple of nights. The location is stunning and it's the perfect location to relax by the infinity pool. The food at the restaurant is amazing too and there is happy hour between 5-6pm every day with delicious cocktails that can be enjoyed by the pool. It feels very luxurious and the staff are so friendly and helpful. I suppose the only downside is that there aren't enough sun loungers if the hotel is busy, and the WiFi can be a bit patchy. "incredible staff and beautiful peaceful resort make this a great choice. yes it’s expensive but worth it. the area around the resort is very quiet so restaurants etc need a taxi but you really won’t want to leave anyway. it was my second trip and won’t be my last. "

"Had an awesome time staying at Kayangan Villa Ubud. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and professional. I mistakenly booked a villa with private pool but didnt realize it didnt have the rice field view so worth nothing when booking your room, make sure it says rice field view if you want that. Otherwise the common pool has an amazing view of the rice fields. The food was also great, a variety of western and indonesian dishes. I would come back here."

"This was my absolute favourite stay in Bali. Bambootel is a luxurious, boutique, serene and romantic experience. They truly take care of you from start to finish, and they care about making your experience the best it can possibly be. They learn your names and make you feel like a VIP the whole time. We did the private movie and supper night, Balinese massages, and floating breakfast in our villa. All three were the epitome of extraordinary and special. I would highly recommend all three! Our villa was spotless and we were so pleased with the cleanliness. The restaurant had amazing cocktails and fantastic food. The resort feels extremely safe and like you are in a small little community away from the business of the world. Highly recommend this stay. Can't wait to come back someday!"

Family run hotel

"The best hotel we stayed in our whole trip. Family run hotel with amazing service even with a little language barrier. In a friendly little village. Amazing veiws from the rooms and they were big and spacious. Could not recommend staying here anymore if I ever return to Bali will definitely be staying here again !! Just be aware it’s about 20 minutes to the main town of ubud but you will find this with most hotels, they offer a taxi service however which is super cheap"

"A hidden gem near Ubud. The place is simply amazing. Can’t put down any faults. Everything was excellent. We had a villa with infinity pool (please be aware to mention your preference while booking as only 2 villas have it) overlooking the valley and ordered breakfasts and dinners to our villa several times as it was just so beautiful and tranquil there that we didn’t want to go out. But the whole property and experience (villas, spa, restaurant with its food and drinks, morning activities, afternoon tea and snacks, service etc) were just so nice that we would already want to go back there. Definitely the place to go and experience the luxury and impeccable service they offer. "
