"Nadine was a very courteous host during our stay and provided us a delicious breakfast including freshly cooked eggs in the morning. Our room was comfortable and spacious. It was so nice staying in the quiet countryside but being only a short distance from Mont St Michel."

"Villa des Dunes is lovely - a really nice quiet spot right by the beach, in a lovely old building. The host made us and our little dog very welcome, she made us a lovely continental breakfast and even made up a picnic lunch for the next day. We would definitely stay again!"

"Arrived at farm to find the bedroom very old, cold and very dated, a minute kitchen with minute facilities with the minute fridge already fully stocked by the next rooms tenants and we weren’t prepared to share a 2 ring stove. The bathroom only had a hand held shower head hanging off the wall over the bath. It was only £42 per night but it was not even worth a second look to be honest."

"It was an amazing experience! Our hosts were the best! And the food they served us was delicious! If you plan to go for only one night, stay longer…. One is not enough… beautiful little town too!"

"Two black marks against my name on our arrival as we arrived a whole 5 mins before time - and I perched on a stool in the hallway to say hello to the dog to be told I mustn’t sit on the stool as it’s an antique!! Welcome !! The breakfast was pretty basic - and we had to pre-order the one pastry that we were entitled to - it was placed in a dish on the buffet table, but we weren’t supposed to touch it until it was served to us ... "Very clean comfortable apartment in a wide open space opening out onto the pool. Great seating area on the balcony (Downstairs apartments had a good space outside their units). Apartment was well fitted out. A little far from the village but easy driving and parking. A good location to explore Mont St Michel."

Luxury stay close to Mont St. Michel

"A gem of a place in the vicinity of Mont St. Michel. The owner personally welcomed and took us to our suite which was spacious and luxurious. The attention to detail of what it offered was extraordinary and the room was extremely quiet. For breakfast, we had croissants and coffee-- the very best croissants in all of France and the coffee was superb! And for a nominal fee, we were also driven a few minutes to the shuttle bus going to Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey. All in all, an enjoyable stay at this hotel which we would highly recommend."

"We used Granville as our hub to explore the Normandy area in France. We rented a car and stayed at Hotel des Bains for five nights. The room was clean and comfortable. We had our adult son along so we book the "Superior Family Room side sea view" which was excellent. Our son had his own area with a privacy curtain. Our balcony looked over the sea. We had a great stay."

"Historic building made into a charming hotel. I stayed in one of the new, renovated rooms but most of the hotel is an old and cozy building. Staff are bilingual, rooms are clean, and it’s in a good location in town. I hope to stay there again one day!"
