For Europeans not used to loadshedding, bring mosquito repellent to protect yourself from their arrival when the fan stops! This will not stop me from coming back each time I will visit Paarl. "Not very impressed! Room outdated but clean some bed side lights not working . Television from the 90’s without one single clear channel thank goodness I had my laptop. Also I booked with breakfast included on Expedia. The GM said no it’s not included. Even when I showed him my confirmation for breakfast he still flatly stated no again and that I would have to pay for it Otherwise room was clean. Just glad I only had one night booked"

"We looooooved our stay at the Southern Belle, Bergsicht Cottage. By far the most private & secluded of all the cottages. We enjoyed the hot tub & the private deck, surrounded by only the sounds of nature. The fairy lights above the pool were very romantic. The cottage had everything we needed to relax & unwind. No TV which was fantastic - you come here to rest & unplug. We'll be back!"
