"Absolutely excellent experience here. We arrived 2 hours late, at 0330, and they were welcoming, and even upgraded us to a suite for the limited time we were there (we checked out that morning!). Breakfast was lovely, staff were excellent, and location is very handy for the station, and autos are easy to come by to get down to the Ganges. Highly rate this hotel! Extremely comfortable beds and extremely clean. Love it. Thank you Arcadia staff."

"Property is a challenge to get to. Cobblestone lanes very overcrowded and dirty neighborhood. When leaving property had 2 porters carry our bags out and we tipped them 500 rupees. Well worth it. Loved our veranda overlooking the Ganges until the monkeys show up at dusk and dawn. The food in the restaurant was the best butter chicken we have ever had. "What a gem of a hotel. Ideally situated near a quiet part of the Ganges in a rural part of Varanasi, yet not so far from the activities of the road system. The hotel is very clean, tidy, while rooms are spacious and fresh. The staff at this hotel were fantastic and went out of there way to make our stay very comfortable."

"If you want to be in the heart of Varanasi near the famous temples and the Ganges river, all within walking distance, this is the hotel for you. If you do not like hotels in a crowded noisy area, then you will not like the hotel. We loved it and the location was fantastic. The staff and service was very good. We would definitely return."
