"This was a five star hotel but it did have quite a few issues. The outdoor pool was not open till June. There was an indoor pool but we were not told that this was available. Much of the hotel information is your phone but we had conection problems . The restaurant had no stand by paper menus. The waiter let us look at his phone so we quickly chose something. The staff were a little aloof generally especially in the panorama restaurant. The reception staff were functional but not warm...

"Lovely welcome, room adequate, no telly or wifi in room. It did feel 'out of season' and the menu reflected this as in not all available. Very quiet too which we liked. The surrounding area is very run down with a lot of rubbish laying around. The breakfast was lovely and generous. Murat particularly took excellent care of us but other staff lovely and helpful too. Visit Erdek its really worth it..lovely fishing town a km along the road. "

"This was our second stay and we look forward to returning again, we love this hotel. It is very stylishly furnished and exceptionally clean, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is wonderful, simply the best Turkish breakfast ever. We strongly recommend staying at Pınar. One thing we would like to point out is please close the doors on the Midye Restaurant so that cigarette smoke doesn’t drift inside, this is not so good when travelling with young children."

"Terrible! There is a disgusting stench in the room, the bed is dirty, the color of a doormat. The hostess, in order to turn on the air conditioner (it turned out to be just a fan in the form of an air conditioner, it didn’t cool at all), stood with her dirty feet on the pillow ... There was a common balcony outside the window and there were people who smoked, talked loudly and looked at us. This hotel is a shock! We ran out of there at dawn and slept without even taking off our clothes."

"Location is excellent, right on the sea front. The staff are friendly and efficient and speak good English. My bike was stored in a private store room. There is a good breakfast. Unfortunately the bathroom in the room smells strongly of mothballs or something like that, and I had to try to keep the bathroom door shut at all times. The air-conditioning works but seems to be weak. The window in the room can't be opened wide, so it is difficult to get rid of the smell."

"Our visit can only be described as comical. We booked a room with a kitchen, never saw one. Apparently our booking had been taken when they were full. There were language barriers which contributed to our issues ok but we ended up in a room that was not fit for purpose.
