"Although the apartment itself looked great on the outside, the entrance was a bit shabby. A ghost kept holding the door between the foyer and our room door. The room was clean but we had no hot water and could not determine which switch controlled the water heater. Bed very comfy and amenities in the room well stocked."

"We booked approximately 12 different locations on our trip to Amsterdam and Croatia. They were all very nice except for this one. Everything in it is VERY OLD, the bedding and linens were from the last century. They were all paper thin and smelled. Both of us had bites all over in the morning. Bed bugs??? The wall at the end of the tub leaked resulting in a flood which we had to clean up in the morning. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!"

"The apartment although three stories up was excellent. The host carried the luggage to our room while I parked the car. The room was spacious, modern and everything worked as it should. Overnight is enough to see what the township has to offer. "

"Had a great stay here for five nights. Mario, Mira, and family are wonderful, thoughtful hosts. We had a welcome dinner, got a box of vegetables from Mario’s garden, and were invited to his granddaughters’ birthday party (it was on the property one day), and to a village festival right nearby. The space is essentially as shown in the pictures (perhaps just a bit less bright), was super clean, and had pretty much everything we needed, including kitchen staples and washing detergents. You have all the best bits of Rijeka right at your door - down the impressive stairs and there you are! Being central it obviously isn't the quietest spot, but I enjoyed the various sounds of life, from the church alongside clanging its bell to people chatting down below to the noises of the nearby bus station and...
