"Great location. Room was small and the smallest hotel bathroom I’ve ever stayed in with a tiny shower cubicle. Breakfast was average. Staff were nice and the place was clean. "

"I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Location is in the middle of everything you need while visiting Porto. Great restaurants, shops & historic sites are all located next to this hotel. The hotel employees: Vinicius, Carla and Alison made me feel right at home. I highly recommend this hotel. 20 out of 10. "

"This hotel is in middle of the city which is great if you want to walk around and eveything was easy to get to. Getting a taxi is easy or bolt like uber is very friendly. The staff is super nice and friendly the breakfast was serviced with so much care. We enjoyed that alot. But the bed is hard mattresses that was very uncomfortable for us. The room we selected was garden facing but no view of the garden that was disappointing. The sofa bed was also not very comfortable. "

"Covelo-Original is exactly what a small guesthouse should be. Our stay was perfect. The Covelo is in the heart of old town and steps away from restaurants and just over the bridge is the religious centre. The room had everything needed (fridge, kettle, coffeemaker, all of which aren’t common in a POR room). A great place to stay!

"I noticed how warm and helpful the front desk staff were upon check in, and this was consistent throughout my stay. House keeping were excellent, thoroughly cleaning the room each day. The room was well organised and comfortable, though the bed was a little firm for my preference (but that’s just me!). I can easily and strongly recommended this hotel."

"My wife and I had a wonderful stay at PortoBay Teatro from December 22 to December 24, 2024. The hotel staff made our experience incredibly enjoyable, providing exceptional service throughout our visit. The location is perfect—centrally situated with easy access to all major attractions, all within walking distance. Our room was spacious, immaculate, and thoughtfully equipped, with recently upgraded amenities. We would absolutely love to return in the future! "

"Located across the street from the theater, the hotel is ideally located within Porto, allowing for easy walk ability as well as the availability of Bolt and Uber drivers. Multitude of bars, restaurants in the immediate area. Easy to walk to the main train station in Porto.The staff went above and beyond and honored me on my birthday with a sparkling wine, as well as dessert while we were having breakfast in the morning. If we need a hotel in Porto in the future, we will definitely be staying there."
