Cons: We were given a cramped triple room with a dilapidated tile terrace rather than what we reserved, which was a superior double room with a glass balcony and a panoramic view. "

"A lovely property matched by warm, friendly and attentive staff who were always happy to help. The room was very comfortable. I would make a suggestion for the kitchen in having a cloth or sponge to be able to wash dirty plates etc., although any used glasses and other utensils were cleaned each day, we like to clean up after using crockery etc. Maybe some tissues in the bathroom for those sniffing days."

"If your looking for modern conveniences this is not the hotel for you, but if you want 1920s charm, this is 5*. No fridge, coffee, satellite TV, but great charm.and a pleasant breakfast. Very friendly staff, old carpets and I think it's great."
