"Foi ótimo! Gostei de tudo. I'm from the US, but lived in Brazil some years ago. This is a very nice hotel. They were helpful with everything. I am fluent in Portuguese, but they had staff who could speak English and Spanish as well. Dinner was very good. The flavors of food are muted compared to what we are used to, but the ingredients are 1st class. We had filet mignon with carrots and parsnips. (Advertised and manioc root. "Fizemos o chequin de entrada as 16hs, o quarto não havia sido liberado, esperamos 30 minutos na chuva para liberação. Eramos 3 pessoas, so tinha uma toalha de rosto, tvemos q pedir 3 toalhas de banho. O vaso sanitário, com problemas de escoamento, tive que sar 8 descargas, mais um balde d agua pros dejeto descerem. Ja o cafe, foi noutra pousada, mais requinrada , com um otimo cafe."

"Overall okay place to stay. It's adjacent to their other property, and it looks like the one we stayed in gets the leftovers of the main one (furniture, mattresses, sheets, etc.). Somewhat clean room. Safe area and a nice staff. Expedia bookings do not get breakfast (extra $5.00, totally worth it, served at the other property across the street). Guests extremely noisy, banging doors late at night and at dawn, but it looks like that's a local problem rather than the hotel's. "
