Twin Cave House - Oia

Twin Cave House is a recently renovated authentic cave house, partly carved in the volcanic rock face. It is located in Oia, on the cliff peak close to the Venetian castle, where everybody gathers to watch Oia’s famous sunset. Due to its unique location, Twin Cave House offers breathtaking views of the caldera and the volcanoes and is only a 2 minutes walk away from Oia’s main street, where all the restaurants and shops are situated.

The cave house consists of two adjacent rooms, each one with its own entrance, but also with an interconnecting door. The first room features a double bed, a basic kitchenette and an en-suite bathroom. The second room is more spacious and offers a fully equipped kitchen, a dining/living area and an en-suite bathroom . The room also features an open loft with a double bed. Furthermore, the couch can be prepared as a single bed in order to sleep a fifth guest. Both rooms' doors lead onto the house's idyllic terrace that overlooks the endless blue of the dazzling caldera. Twin Cave House can comfortably host two couples, while offering them privacy, but is also ideal for families, or groups of friends.

The house offers daily housekeeping service.

The village of Oia is a traditional settlement and it is entirely pedestrian. The village offers a great variety of restaurants, shops, mini markets etc. Within the village, everything is in walking distance. You can explore the rest of the island either by car, bus, taxis or organised tours. There are public parking areas at the entrance of the village, but take into consideration that during high season parking can be challenging.

Absolutely stunning area in Oia - right at the heart of this beautiful town. Close to all the restaurants and sites at Oia. Nicoletta was fantastic- met us on the first day and gave us a tour of the town and the home. Loved the twin caves!

Wonderful stay! The cave house was very clean, the air conditioner/heat works very well, and was in a great location with not too many stairs. Communication was great, and there was daily housekeeping. Highly recommend!

I own 3 Vrbo properties in the States and this property was ideal and I couldn’t have asked for more. Nicoletta, the owner, answered all questions in a very timely manner and has a great team in place from housekeeping to personalized guides. Our guide Chris was excellent and so much fun! Lovely Cave House
Property was beautifully situated among the cave houses on the side of the cliff - great views, easy access to streets of Oia. The property manager and his assistants were very accommodating in carrying our luggage down the steep steps and back up the hill at the end of our visit. Views from Oia are magical!

Absolutely wonderful!
This property has charm, comfort, and a prime location. My husband, daughter, and I stayed here for three nights. It's steps from the pedestrian walkway through Oia with restaurants, shops, sunsets, and everything you could want. The sunset and moon views are spectacular. I highly recommend this beautiful home and hope to return some day.

The twin cave houses are an awesome place to stay in Oia on Santorini! Nicoletta, the host, was great with communication. The place was perfect and cozy for our family of 5. A few things… right around the corner from these is one of the most popular photo spots, so there are a lot of people there all the time. The stove is sub-par… so cooking should be kept to a minimum. Finally, our initial towels were great, but the second set we got was not as nice and there was some confusion in exchanging beach towels, so we were short these on a day. All minor things, and we would definitely recommend this house.

Fantastic stay at Nicolette’s house
Great place for four people with two separate rooms, showers and kitchenette. The view on the Caldera is amazing. It is very well located and accessible. Nicolette’s son, Philipp, was there to welcome us and give us indications. We also had the chance to meet Nicoletta at the maritime museum where she provided very interesting explanations on Santorini, the volcano and the caldera. She also speaks French perfectly. I recommend this museum which is less than 5 minutes from her place. I also recommend the walk from Fira to Oia which has amazing views.

Amazing & Memorable stay
We loved our stay at the Twin Cave house in Oia, Santorini. This is a wonderful cave house just steps away from the best sunset view in Santorini. Nicoletta was very accommodating and responded very quickly to all our requests. She arranged the pickup from the airport & porter to the house when we arrived. The house is gorgeous and as shown in the pictures. Nicoletta and her daughter Alexandra gave us very clear instructions, recommendations and things to do while at Santorini and were always available. The house is beautiful with magnificent views of the caldera and the water. Loved our stay. Thank you Alexandra and Nicoletta for making our stay in Santorini memorable !

A place with a view…
The twin cave houses are exactly as presented on VRBO. The houses give you the unique experience of staying in cave with a great view of the caldera. Nicoletta, the proprietor, met our taxi and facilitated the transport of our luggage, which was a godsend being that Santorini is a labyrinth of small walkways with numerous steps. Santorini is a must see. We found it to be as spectacular as all the pictures and videos show. Having said that, what we did not expect, was the wall to wall people that made getting around a pain. While there I read an article about some tourist cities limiting the number of tourists and Santorini was on that list. I certainly understand why.

Beautifully clean, modern and central cave house with stunning caldera view.
We would highly recommend this property. Our family of 5 stayed comfortably in the spacious 2 bedroom home. The bathrooms were huge and beautifully done. The beds were super comfortable. Everything was immaculately clean, The view was magical. We spent hours having drinks and meals on the front porch and looking at the caldera and enjoying the sunset. The place was well equipped. Nicolleta was excellent to deal with and responded very quickly to any questions or requests. She arranged a number of transfers for us which were very helpful and she was always super friendly and efficient. The area is quite busy as it’s the #1 place for photos of Oia but it was easy to get from there to everywhere. Shops and restaurants right at your doorstep. We loved our stay. Thank you to you and your team for unforgettable memories Nicoletta!

Beautiful apartment!
The apartment was beautiful and in a perfect location! Nicoletta always responded very quickly and answered any/all questions we had regarding the property. She also helped to arrange transfers when we needed them. She provided us with a wonderful packet of information pertaining to restaurants, shopping, places to visit. She also had a bottle of wine, juice and bottles of water waiting for us in the fridge, along with toast, jams, honey, coffee and tea. She had her daughter meet us at the meeting point (at the post office- very close), who escorted us to the apartment and went over everything we needed to know regarding our stay. She also provided a porter who carried all our luggage to the VRBO from the post office meeting place; he also helped to carry all our luggage to our taxi when we left for the airport. The apartment was beautiful and was very well appointed. The photos are a true representation of the lovely apartment. The doorways are very low, so unfortunately my husband did hit his head several times in the doorway, but he is 6’2”. I did not have any issues with the doorway at all, nor did my daughter. The apartment was very clean (a maid came to clean daily) and was tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the wine on the front porch, which had an amazing view of the caldera. It is centrally located to many of the sights. It does happen to be right next to a popular photo spot, but we were always able to squeeze by the people on the way out and to the main street. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this gorgeous apartment!
