The physical majesty of this boutique property almost defies description. So, I'll begin with what is readily describable. Mandy! I believe Mandy is the general manager although I cannot say for sure. At once, she was a superb concierge, adept front desk manager, valet (she met me at the main road and led me to the property after Siri abandoned me as Siri did quite often during my stay in Greece), and caring room service attendant. Mandy was nothing short of amazing. My best hope for her is, if she is single, a wealthy American gentleman visits and sweeps her off her feet so that she can experience the pampering she provides her guests at Abelis Canava.
Now to the property itself...No detail was overlooked. My suite was enormous and very well appointed. There was a huge comfortable sofa in the suite's living room, a large dining table in the separate-although not separated-dining room with a wine cellar of sorts, a lovely kitchenette, a bedroom with a queen-sized canopied bed that reminded me of my childhood in a most excellent way, wonderful shower with full-sized bottles of very high quality shampoo and body wash, and all these in-floor, lit from within wine making alcoves. The odd thing about the suite was while the walls and floors seemed to be constructed of concrete, alabaster, or some other such granite like materials, the suite was very warm and inviting.
I apologize to Luke, an owner, for not giving him the space he deserves here. Just amazing!
