"The Place at Evoramonte is now my new favorite place to stay. The property is gorgeous! The rooms are so comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. The views from the room, terraces, and patio are absolutely breathtaking. Vicki and Mitch were the nicest hosts, from the moment we arrived to the time we had to head home. "It was a great place in order to discover the beautiful areas of the region of Portugal. The village is very quiet and the people are charming, but the bakery opposite would bake in the evening which could mean smoke coming into garden if the wind was in the right direction. Despite this I would definitely stay again. Natalie was very good at arranging the pre-stay information. "

"What an amazing time we had in Orvalhos! The house sits on a hill where it overlooks the Alentejo plaines. In the mornings , the sounds of bells and birds always made me happy. The locals are just as nice! The house was very clean and it had all we needed. We kept it warm by using the fireplace every evening. "A great place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Room was clean, spacious and lighting was excellent. The in house menu was limited but everything we had was top quality. Downside for us was we didn’t have a vehicle, taxi was less that 10euro would definitely stay here sgain"
