"Unfortunately, we didn’t check to see that the pool was available to guests without a reservation. Seems strange that they highlighted photos of the pool but you have to make a reservation and pay a fee to use the pool, for a limited time. The pool and hot tub are within the Spa. Breakfast, the lounge and bar areas are beautiful, warm and friendly. This place is not within walking distance of the town and taxi services are limited. "This room was a great value. There was a mistake with my room access code but it was corrected promptly via the entrance intercom (they do not have staff in a lobby here). Rooms were very clean. Loved the sound of the church bells chiming in the hour. "

"A very old stone building very nicely renovated and modernized. Our room had small windows but the stone fireplace and old sink were gorgeous; the A/C worked great. We had the hotel breakfast one morning--it was fine, reasonable cost; but there are plenty of cafés nearby as well. Alda corp evidently runs several similar hotels in Santiago. "

"Sorry to write negative things especially after the reception ladies were so good. The hotel was misleadingly advertised. We booked to be stay in this hotel with a Park View and with a balcony to sit and view the park. This is not true. There is a balcony but it was less than half a meter in depth so you could not stand or sit on it. You would not have wanted to either as it was right on a narrow, busy road with a view of a tall untidy hedge and no park. The park is at least 200 meters away up...
