"We thought the hotel was beautiful. It had a fun vibe and the first floor had a pool table, cool little nooks to sit in, and the hotel staff were sitting at the front desk the whole time. The staff asked us what floor we preferred, which I thought was nice. "

"The property was average. We had to ask to have the bedding changed because it was dirty. I was asked multiple times if it was "dirty" or stained" but for someone coming to spend the night, there is no difference. Stained looks dirty. There was a pill in the room on the floor, lights were dim, just felt dingy and kind of gross in the room. The staff was really good. As soon as we called, they sent someone to clean ASAP so no complaints there. The motel is just what it is, a motel. Kind of out of date. It did what it needed to do, we got showers, we got rest, and we got breakfast before we continued our drive from NJ to FL. It was in my budget & this was a "you pay for what you get" stay. Nothing horrible, but nothing with bells or whistles either. "

"We loved our stay in Santee! The hotel is super convenient to I-95 while traveling. The hotel is very clean, the staff are friendly, the room is spacious and the large bathroom and shower is also a bonus! Complimentary breakfast and coffee in the morning was perfect before getting back on the road. We will definitely stay again! "
