Being this beautiful semi-detached villa one of the first houses built in what in his day was the small port of Cala Llonga and which over the years has become one of the most popular marines of the island of Mallorca, retains all the character of his days and is in a perfect state of preservation with a beautiful Ibicencal style.

The property is located in the area of Cala d´Or called Old Town well known for its tranquillity and the easy walking distance to the main centre of town and the Marina with all the amenities.
Most of the repeat guest of this area know perfectly how beautiful and enchanting this area is.

Set right on the water edge on top of the old port with the characteristic barracks and small moorings from where the fisherman’s just to moor the small Mallorcan boats called Yauts after a long day of finishing. The location of the lovely house is unique.

When accessing the house you find a hall way area where on the left hand side are the stairs that lead to the second floor. At the end of the hall is the kitchen area, dining and living room that give access though French patio windows to the spectacular and spacious covered terrace with incredible and amazing views over the bay and the marina of Cala d'Or.

The length of time for a moment stops to enjoy this beautiful place and you can delight yourselves from the hustle and bustle of the incoming and outgoing of the Yachts that leave and enter through the beautiful Mediterranean bay of Cala Llonga out to the open sea or back to port.

On the left hand side from this terrace your find the stairs down that lead you to the beautiful pool area and if we carry on down we arrive to the direct access to the old area of the barracks and moorings.

If we go backwards in our footsteps crossed the living room we find a shower room and a few steps up lead us to a double room with two single beds.

From the entrance hall we get upstairs to the second floor where on the right hand side is a double room with twin beds and en suite bathroom and on left hand side the master bedroom with a dressing area and bathroom. From these two bedrooms you gain access to the sunny terrace from this floor.

Without the frills that society offers us today this lovely house offers a lot more. Offers moments, experiences and memories that will remain un replaceable in your hearts forever.

Great Marina Villa
My wife and I stayed in Villa El Club for ten days. We read all the reviews before, and found the villa to be pretty much as described. Yes, it’s an older building, privately owned, and the presentation reflects these facts but I think that gives it a personal feel, less like a soulless, bland collection of rooms and more like a comfortable home. As someone else has already said in another review, don’t let it put you off. You won’t regret it. The veranda area everyone mentions really is the best place to sit and watch the marina and the locale is very handy for shops and restaurants. It was very clean on our arrival and the kitchen welcome pack was a nice touch. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the bathrooms were perfectly adequate. The staff at Open d’Or were exceptional and all contact was prompt and helpful. We’d thoroughly recommend this villa.

The villa is located in a great position. It's an old property but is still nice. No air con in main area,only in bedrooms. The outside area at the pool needs a tidy..Some loose cement etc.All in we had a great time,just needs a tidy up.

Beautiful spot perfectly located between town centre and marina. The property management company were brilliant and helped with every little question and query we had quickly and effectively. Wifi is a little patchy in places but that was our only (minor) grumble.

This property has some stunning outdoor space which caters for everyone. It is in an excellent location close to everywhere with some stunning views where you can sit and watch the boats pass. I have seen reviews that say the property is dated but honestly i wouldnt let this put you off. To me it was more rustic than dated but more importantly it was clean. We had a coulple of minor issues but the communication from the letting agent was spot on. We would definitely book again. Thank you for a great stay.

Great location and property, with some room for improvement with communication.
Overall, I would recommend this place. It's in a great location, amazing pool and patio, lots of space and rooms. There were a few communication issues that I feel should be mentioned and not ignored. First, the Google maps link they give you is wrong. It pinpoints 2 houses away and the street changes names, making normal numerological order useless. They provide plenty of instructions, which are half useless if you give a Google Maps link that's around the bend of the street and not visible. A call to the office around 19:20 was not answered. The parking instructions are wrong. They say park on the white curb, which is not accurate. This was resolved with communication with the rental company the following morning. Lastly, there were 2 men that entered the property to do pool maintenance through a back gate. There was no notice from the rental company, nor did the men ever knock or say a word. In fact, when messaging the company to ask if there was scheduled maintenance, I never received a reply, which was odd since they were fairly responsive otherwise. This was very concerning, especially if this was a more serious situation that required urgency. I feel like these issues are easily resolvable and shouldn't impact further stays but felt they needed to be said.

What a beautiful authentic holiday home….
What a wonderful week we had at El Club with our friends, the property even though a little tired was full of charm and character and was a pleasure to stay at. An amazing location we spent many hours watching boats go in and out of the marina. Quiet part of town very near to good eating places. We throughly enjoyed our stay and more so by the help and support of Alexandra and Nathalie at Open D’or - thank you for your amazing communication and welcome. Happy memories thank you so much.

Beautiful villa with amazing views
A perfect villa for 6 - in a fantastic location. We absolutely loved the Veranda and spend many hours watching the boats go by. The kitchen is modern with most facilities. The pool is a bit tired - has tiles missing and needed intervention by the maintenance team as became green by the end of our stay.

Great Location
Overall the Villa was just lovely, very spacious with everything you needed. Very clean and comfortable beds. The location was just perfect, near to everything you could want. Watching the boats go in and out of the harbour was a daily routine at about 6pm with a glass of vino! The property is a little tired, however this should not effect anyones stay here,

Great views over the marina and easy walking distance to restaurants Property in require of some maintenance Window shutters and door locks are rusty and not very easy to secure Pool area was dirty when we arrived but on contacting the office a gardener was soon on site to clean area Sun beds have no mats A lot of the dishes in the kitchen were chipped and needing replaced All in all we still had a lovely holiday and would return.

Amazing location
Firstly the pros. The property is genuinely on the waterfront at the entrance to the marina, directly opposite the refuelling jetty. The property has plenty of outdoor spaces including a large undercover area where we spent most of our time watching the boats go past. The pool is small but it is only a 10 minute walk to one of the many inlets where there is a nice beach and a bar/restaurant. It is also only 10 minutes either to the town centre or to the marina where there are some good restaurants. La Scala is probably the best of them. The cons. The interior of the property is showing it’s age. The kitchen has been refurbished and a very small shower room added on the ground floor to service the third bedroom, but the rest of the interior could do with an upgrade. In 2021 we shouldn’t be fighting with over-long shower curtains over the bath. Also watch out for a bit of a trip hazard as the new floor tiles in the kitchen and shower room have been laid on top of the old tiles so there’s a definite lip to watch out for. Having said all that, on balance this was an excellent place to stay over October half-term and well-worth an overall 4 stars.

We stayed for two weeks at Villa el Club. We found the booking very smooth and Open D’or Properties were very helpful and informative from booking, to end of our holiday. When we arrived at the villa we firstly saw how beautiful and quirky it is, with an amazing history and of course unbelieveable location. Each room having its own bathroom was very convenient, and a very very well equipped kitchen in the villa too. We did notice how tired the villa is though. We totally understand the expense in keeping a villa like this up to date, but small things like new fans, re tiling the pool, grouting the bathroom and getting rid of rust would make a huge difference. We did report these things to Nathalie at Open D’or and she came out to take photos and report the issues to the owner. An electrician came and fixed a socket that was hanging off and also put a cover on one of the lights that doesn’t have one. He said the fans need replacing. We reported the leak from the terrace down to the steps up to the downstairs bedroom, it was so bad at one point we had buckets out catching the water. There is also a hole next to the pool, we have older children but younger ones could hurt themselves around the pool area if not careful. If these things were fixed then the villa would be almost perfect. We truly enjoyed our stay and would go back in a heartbeat. Make sure you go and have a drink at Fowler’s. The owner is lovely and told us the history of the Villa and the area.

Perfect property in the most amazing of locations
We stayed here for 11 days and had the most amazing of times. The villa is very nice and in a perfect location with a beautiful view of the boats in the local harbour. We spent many of hours sitting enjoying this view. The villa is ideally located close to the marina and town, both within a 5-10 min walk. Absolutely perfect. We will most definitely come back.

After about an hours drive from the airport we arrived at El Club about 10pm and it did not disappoint! The villa was as lovely as the pictures on the website. The location was perfect, looking out onto the marina was beautiful. Inside the house, everything was as it should be especially with a brand new kitchen with dishwasher (think we may have been the first to use it). The teenage kids made use of the roof terraces for sunbathing and spent plenty of time in the pool, which was great. It was also great to be less than 5 minutes walk to the nearest beach and only10 minutes to the next! The town with plenty of shops and restaurants and a local Spar is 5-10 minutes walk away, the bigger supermarket was a bit further out (15mins walk) but we managed it even in the heat! Overall, we had a lovely relaxing 5 days and would definitely recommend a stay here.

Mycket trevligt hus. Vi trivdes väldigt bra. Satt gärna på terrassen och såg alla båtar som gled förbi. Enda besvikelsen var att solstolarna var mycket smutsiga och marken runt poolen ostädad. Poolen var ren och fin.

Einzigartige Lage, aber schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen
Das Haus hat eine einzigartige Lage mit einem fantastischen Blick auf den Hafen. Von Vormittag bis zum Abend hat man Sonne auf der schönen Terrasse. Der Hafen und die zahlreichen Shops und Restaurants sind fussläufig erreichbar und ein Eroski-Supermarkt in der Nähe. Die Bilder des Inserats müssen wohl schon deutlich älter sein, denn es ist in Wirklichkeit schon alles etwas abgeliebt und veraltet. Auch die Ausstattung lässt bei dem Preisniveau leider ziemlich viele Wünsche offen. Alte Handtücher, noch ältere Liegen- und Stuhlauflagen, nur eine Rolle Toilettenpapier, alte/dreckige WC-Bürsten, keine Kaffeecups, keine Spültaps, kein Geschirrhandtuch, eine leere Packung Streichhölzer und bereits abgebrannte Kerzen,… Die Sauberkeit bei unserer Ankunft war mittelmäßig, die Böden etwas staubig und die Küchenutensilien, die wir benutzt haben, haben wir vor dem ersten Gebrauchen abgespült (mit selbst gekauftem Spülmittel). Der Garten könnte deutlich gepflegter sein und auch fast verblühte/vertrocknete Blumentöpfe verschönern das Gesamtbild nicht gerade. Der Pool wurde während unseres Aufenthalts zwei Mal gereinigt, es ist aber Equipment vorhanden, um dies selbst zu tun.
