"My family & I stayed in this amazing property for 5 nights & fell totally in love with it. The pictures simply do not do it justice- from the size of the place (which is much bigger than it looks in the photos) to the sheer beauty of its surroundings. The place is so well appointed and home-y because they have thought of everything. Family style meals with a well appointed kitchen are a breeze. The hot tub, sauna, pool table, shuffleboard, and lovely grounds keep everyone happy and individually satisfied. "Our family of five enjoyed our stay at the Mountain View Oasis home in Lakeside, CA. The property owners were great communicators, responsive and accommodating. The home was well stocked with all the amenities needed to make our stay comfortable. The location was close to San Diego and a nice escape from the city at nighttime. Our kids enjoyed the wild peacocks in the neighborhood and the pool. The pool is heated at an additional cost per day. We would recommend this place to other families. "

"We enjoyed our stay in the house. The house was clean and comfortable ,the hostess was very responsive. The only drawback is that there is only one key available to enter the house( apparently there is no spare key available),so if you lose/misplaced your key there would be a problem. You might have to call for a locksmith.. Other then this I can recommend the house and location."

"Celebrating a birthday with sons and their families. Plenty of room to spread out, play games, watch a movie or even find a quiet spot to read and enjoy the spectacular view of the lake. We had a bald eagle flying whilst at breakfast and deer just the other side of fence. 12 wild turkeys were wandering up the road as we walked down to the lake. Rather a nice workout after lunch.
