"We loved the place! We had excellent communication from both the owner and the property manager beforehand. The instructions were very clear and understandable. The watermelon and pineapple that were provided were delicious too! The pool was our favorite part of the home and a great way to cool off before bed. The beds were comfortable, the AC in the bedrooms did a great job, and the bathrooms were very nicely appointed. The Coati was by every morning to say hello and we saw a Toucan. The leaf cutter ants in the backyard were fascinating as well. We didn’t spend much time at the house as we had (too) many activities scheduled and were not able to explore the property as we wished. The entry road past the gate did require 4 wheel drive if you stop to lock the gate behind yourself. With momentum, a 2 wheel drive will likely make it up the road just fine. Our only minor complaint is that we found the concrete and cushion couch in the living room very uncomfortable. But that was an only an issue the one night we were home early."

"Quaint, rustic place, clean, well landscaped, friendly staff, very close to some very good restaurants, close to playa ventanas, it is wooden structure so quite rustic but goes well w the jungle vibes. "

"We stayed in the Superior Villa/Villa Agalla and the view was beautiful. The property felt secluded and we enjoyed our stay. This villa does need some maintenance, but overall a wonderful week. For example, the shower floor tiles are loose and will stick to to the bottom of your feet. We couldn't use the grill because it is charcoal but the bottom is burned out of it. There is no air conditioned common space, it is all open air. However, the bedrooms are air conditioned for a good nights sleep. If we return to the same area, we would definitely stay here again. "

"Pristine secluded retreat surrounded by flowers and birds! We love the cozy atmosphere and comfort! The pool is a welcome respite from the humidity. The rooms are spotless and the breakfast is delicious! "

"We had a wonderful 6 weeks at Bali Bali Bueno. It was quiet, which suited us fine. The rustic house is cool so no need for ac while we were there, although there are airconditioners in the bedrooms. The staircase to the upper level is interesting and so due to our mobility issues we stayed downstairs. Our friends stayed in the casita and loved it, especially the view from their bedroom and the outdoor shower, The pool is lovely and well maintained. The outdoor area was the highlight with the comfortable seating and lots of covered space so that you could escape from the sun. The road in is rough in parts, so a 4x4 is essential. We did miss the convenience of a dishwasher. We hope to return."

"Wonderful place near Ojochal! So beautiful. The property is really unique and the owner takes amazing care of it. Such neat touches - the bathroom is really beautiful with handmade clay features. Hot water! The owner blows off all the leaves on the walkways daily which I think must help with the fact that we had no insects. Property is super tight. Kitchen has all essentials and we were able to make meals. No monkeys seen but heard the howlers and there were tons of birds of all kinds. Lots of toucans. And I finally got to see a red eyed tree frog! Property is beautifully landscaped and if you take a walk down the road you'll find even more incredible birds including the montezuma bird. Had a fun dining experience on a Friday evening in Ojochal listening to live music during dinner. Highly recommend!"

"Our stay on this property was amazing everything from communication to all the extra amenities provided that were not part of the description. Nacho was excellent and even though we arrived much later than expected, he was there assisting us with everything you could imagine. We would highly recommend this property to anyone that was looking for a place to stay in Costa Rica."
