Because it was an old stone house the availability of electrical outlets for charging phones etc and for appliances was very limited. Perhaps the charm of an old house. The swimming pool was a wonderful attraction on hot days."

"Nice house, the description is pretty accurate. Quite comfortable for 8 people. We stayed in the mid of summer; the pool was very warm. The river was also warm and good for swimming. The things to pay attention to: - during hot days A/C works to full capacity. - the closest store is 10-15 min away, not walkable - if you are uncomfortable driving steep up/down hill, and sharp turns, consider staying elsewhere. "

"Paulo/teresa are very friendly and helpful. Local grocery store up the street with super food, reasonable wine prices. Large super market 15 min walk. Apt is close to the port factories, river cruises and within walking distance of the old town. Great restaurant just down the street. "This villa was perfect for our needs. Two families of 8 people with teenage and adult daughters of 15, 15, 17 and 19 years. An amazing pool to cool down in that is a reasonable size for games, yet heated at the right temperature for the cooler, cloudier mornings. We hope the next group enjoy the inflatables we left as much as we did!
