"Hotel was conveniently situated a couple of miles from Madeira Airport, perfect for an early morning flight! Although the restaurant was closed, l was given a discount voucher for sister establishment opposite the church and the food was excellent! Left hotel by booked taxi before breakfast was served! 😢 Santa Cruz is pretty little town!"

"I'm a plane Spotter, so it was ideal for me, 30 minutes walk from Madeira airport, views over looking the airport, there is no heating or air conditioning in the bungalow, it's well equipped quite spacious, new like condition, considering how close it was to the runway aircraft noise wasn't much of a problem, not really any flights 9pm until 6 or 7am, From Neil "

"We love Santa Cruz and the little village with small shops and restaurants. This house is an easy walk to the village and is right on the ocean. You can sleep with the sound of the waves. You also have access to a beautiful pool and spacious terrace. We did not want to leave. Carlos was easy to communicate with a Sandra (the housekeeper) looked after us very well. "

"We stayed for 10 days in the property as a base to explore Madeira. The property was perfect for all 5 of us, lots of space, well equipped and immaculate. Anna is the host and is the loveliest person. She had baked us xakes for our arrival and supplied us with extra beach towels when needed. She also provided basic food and fruit., lots of advice about the area including a local farmers market we would never have known about. We loved our stay and visited most of the island. "Carolina was a great host! The place was clean and so peaceful up on the mountain side near the airport. Under 30 min drive to the main trails or Funchal. The only downside is the roads leading up to the property were quite steep and narrow-you definitely have to be a decent driver. Cannot wait to stay there again. "
