Also, it didn’t look like it was well taken care of. The electric blinds were worn out and one literally fell off the wall. I wrote an email to the owner but never heard from them. I slept one night out of 3 because there is zero insonorisation and the party from down the hill goes from 11:00 until 5:00 in the morning! ...

"Big room in a quiet old manor/estate. A bit hard to find, google did okay however the entrance was not signed very well. Stairs to room, good breakfast and quiet area. Grounds are dated but the house is clean and spacious. Host was helpful offering maps of the area and ideas for restaurants. "

We felt we had no choice but to comply - it should not have been like that. In the rush to vacate our rooms we forgot we had to pay cash, rather than the credit card details given on booking. A hiccup with finding the place but this was due to address on this website being wrongly listed by the tourist office as the road name had been changed.
