Amazing Hosts
This was the best stay from our 3 week trip through Cuba. The hosts are super friendly, go over and above for their guests. They woke up at 2.30 at night to make sure our taxi to the bus station arrived. Nothing was too much for them. Good breakfast. Spacious, clean rooms. Lots of outdoor space. They don't speak english, but work hard to make sure we understood everything. Very impressed

The room (apt) it was very spacious, enough to accommodate 5 of us. It had to bunk beds (pretty big size) and a Queen bed, bathroom, kitchen/bar area with even a set of high stools chairs. The entire place was immaculate, very clean and secluded enough so you can enjoy the 2 outdoors patios-even with a very nice view to the surrounding neighborhood but what really stood up were the hostesses-very lovely and charming couple. They accommodated us in no time, gave us suggestions for restaurants around for either breakfast and/or dinner. They even helped us get gas from another guest that was actually leaving the next day. I wish I could stayed longer but I was only one day in Santa Clara out a weekend trip to Cuba. I highly recommend this place. Can't way to go back !!! Thank You

I had a negative experience with the communication with the host. Despite having paid for and reserved the accomodation months in advance, I was disturbed by dozens of messages and a number of door rings both before and during my stay demanding I pay again because the hosts did not know how to operate their account. I was also disturbed by the lack of privacy offered by one of the hosts. I will not repeat the visit.

Gute Unterkunft mit netten Gastgebern
Wir hatten ein grosses, sehr schön und stilvoll eingerichtetes klimatisiertes Zimmer mit gutem Bad und sehr guter Dusche. Es war alles sehr sauber und das Frühstück war hervorragend. Wir assen es auf der schönen Terrasse hinter unserem Zimmer. Von dort aus konnte man auf die Dachterrasse mit wunderbarer Aussicht steigen. Das Auto konnten wir gegen eine kleine Gebühr im geschlossenen Innenhof eines Nachbarn parkieren, das haben wir sehr geschätzt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit, sie konnten alle unsere Fragen gut beantworten und gaben gute Empfehungen zu was man in der Gegend anschauen kann oder wo man gut und günstig isst. Wir haben uns in dieser Unterkunft sehr wohlgefühlt.

Excelente hostal para alojarse Habitaciones espaciosas, con aire acondicionado, nevera y tv. Las camas muy cómodas Baño muy espacioso y higienico Terraza con solarium Aunque está un poco alejado del Centro puedes ir a visitarlo a pie. Esto da mayor tranquilidad tambien a la hora de descansar La atención de Ivan , el dueño, excelente también

Cette casa a été pensée avec minutie pour accueillir les voyageurs, tant au point de vue agencement et décoration que fonctionnalités et indépendance (deux terrasses privatives, cuisine indépendante, couchage très bon, situation proche de grands marchés typiques...) La propreté est de rigueur chez Iliana et Yvan. Ce sont deux personnes exceptionnelles avec qui nous avons noué d'étroites relations amicales qui perdurent encore après notre séjour. Nous recommandons tout particulièrement cette casa pour un séjour plus ou moins long à Santa Clara et à laquelle nous attribuons le nombre d'étoiles maximal par rapport à toutes nos autres expériences dans le pays.

Nette kamer bij vriendelijke & behulpzame hosts
Wij hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf bij Hostal Solaire. Het ontbijt met vers fruit smaakte ons goed. De kamer waar wij sliepen was ruim en netjes, met een moderne en goed werkende airco. Wij hadden een eigen badkamer en koelkast. We werden hartelijk ontvangen en kregen heel vriendelijk uitgelegd welke plekken in de stad leuk waren om te bezoeken, drankjes te doen en om te eten. Ook hielpen zij ons met het vinden van een taxi naar het busstation. Ook al hebben wij hier maar één nacht geslapen (wij waren op doorreis), wij hebben ons erg thuis gevoeld en zouden iedereen aanraden om hier te verblijven tijdens een bezoek aan Santa Clara!
