"This place was lovely, right on the slopes of mount Etna. Guiseppe and Louisa were fantastic hosts and were very friendly and helpful. Good set up of our apartment with separate living space to bedroom with lots of room. Only downside was small shower and no AC. On the day we were leaving they were quite happy for us to take our time as room was free for that day so woke up late and after sorting ourselves out we took a tour of the winery. "I'm sure on a nice day, this place is absolutely awesome. Unfortunately for me it was raining and cold, and after a horrifying ride up the mountain, I was greeted by the dog that jumped up on me and got my pants very muddy (I love dogs but he was extremely muddy and kept jumping on me).. "We spent two weeks in a villa and enjoyed visiting NorthEast Sicily as well as Aeolian Islands. The place is quiet and yet just 5-10 min away (by car) from the nearby town and motorway. We tried local olive oil and it was veeeery good. That was the last week of September plus first week of October sso evenings and nights were pleasantly cool."

"Location is for those who want to be far from civilization - long climb up partly unpaved hairpin turn drive. Pleasant surroundings once there, but for anyone looking for comfort, this is not the place. Sparse furnishings, not a shelf, hook or soap dish in bathroom. Light too dim to read & TV reception fuzzy. The one unexpected "luxury" was extra pillows. "We had a wonderful stay in one of the houses in the citrusfarm. The house has all the basic things you need and a private terras looking over the citrusfarm. "We loved this place. The owner spoke little english and us no Italian, but between us he was able to proudly tell us of his home produce wine and farm. The ambience was relaxed genuine and geared towards great food and surroundings. They kindly recomended view points for us ro visit the next day. Would definitely come back . Thank you :) x"

"This was the last hotel we stayed in, on our trip around Sicily,and they saved the best to last. The hotel and surroundings were beautiful. From our bedroom windows/door we had an amazing view of the vineyards and sitting on the balcony at the front we could have a drink and look across at a smoking Mount Etna. The staff were very pleasant and efficient. The food at breakfast and in the evening was excellent. A lovely place to stay and tour around the area."
