The bed was incredibly comfortable which is so important. The back yard is perfect for watching the sunset. The views are as advertised. Thank you, Stefania for making our time so memorable."

"We needed a place to stay in or near Vinci for the night before our 3 week stay in a nearby villa began. Il Piastrino looked lovely and was VERY well priced. And it was exceptionally nice—from the spacious, charming rooms (surprise—we had a kitchen), the delicious breakfast, to the warm and welcoming staff. We arrived very late toward the end of a busy pris fixe am fresco dinner service but we were settled in and set at ease. And yes, we returned a few days later for the al fresco dining. Wow....

"Apartment was very large with a fantastic outdoor dining area. Pool area was beautiful with incredible views, just needed a bit of a repaint. Owners were lovely and kind with a gorgeous dog that our children loved playing with. Great location and Pistoia is a lovely town "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week here and Luca and Samantha (and all her family) made us very welcome. Don’t miss eating at their restaurant, Le Macine del Monte Croce, down the road. The house is very comfortable with everything you need and the views are stunning. Walk along the path that runs behind the house. "Relaxing stay in the hills that surround Montecattini. Short drive down the hillside to visit Pescia, Buggiano, Monte Carlo ,Lucca ect."

"We loved our stay at the Borgo La Casseta. It’s a family business, they have a small restaurant on the main floor. It takes approx half an hour drive up the hill to get there from Pistoia. A little bit tricky to find. Parking is free (gated property). The room was clean, separate bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. A spectacular 180 degree city/valley view. "
