"The self check-in facility wasn't working and it took 30 minutes and phone conversations with 3 people before a very helpful lady was able to assist. Another guest spoke to us during that time to say he'd had trouble checking in 3 days earlier and had not had any wifi access at all for his stay. "Great place. It is a good central location, as Zurich, Zug, Lucerne , Chur, Appenzell and more are all about an hour's drive away. You can also take nice walks in the nearby area. The house is comfortable and quiet, has great view, and the owner's father, who lives nearby, is very helpful and informative."

"Amden was a beautiful, quaint and friendly introduction to Switzerland and a perfect jumping off point for visits to the two main Swiss cities of Zurich and Lucerne and just an hour to Liechtenstein. Great location."

"Brand new. Well located to transport options and not too far from the centre. For the price it was well worth it and a nice stay. Warm at night but with fan running was ok. Needed to close the windows to keep out the street noise. It was super quiet and dark when windows and external blinds closed which was very nice. "
