"I loved this unique hotel, it was a tick off the bucket to stay in the rainforest! The staff are so friendly and the food is excellent and great value for money. It is very easy to get to the animal centres and I was still able to access the internet so could order grab taxis. I’d definitely recommend bringing bug spray! 100% would recommend, where else can you stay in the rainforest?!"

"The team at the Losge were so helpful. We were a day late due to a missed connection and we wanted to head into the jungle and they arranged everything for us and even took a day off of our booking to facilitate a stay with their sister lodge at the Kinabantagan River. "The property is basic, but well maintained and food is pretty good mostly. Beer available to buy. No wifi - but you can get a poor connection from receptionist's phone acting as hotspot. Friendly atmosphere. 3 days, 2 nights, equals 4 boat journeys, 1 day walk and 2 night walks. First 2 boat trips were disappointing - didn't see much except same monkeys who hang around camp. 3rd saw orangutans and crocodiles. 4th saw whole herd of pygmy elephants with calves on riverbank and swimming. "The most amazing stay. The kitchen excelled with all our food allergies and nothing was too much trouble for them. We saw wild Orangutans near the lodge. Only 4 rooms, so quiet and less mosquitoes than those places on the river. I loved my stay and highly recommend to others."
