"First the 12 th century house in the listing was the reason I booked. I arrived to find this to be across the street. Not at all reflective downright deceptive. "I had the worst experience with a host. After I booked and paid through Vrbo, for 48 nights for 14 persons, the owner asked for an additional payment of 42% of the price. I thought it is unbelievable. I did not accept this, I wanted to cancel. After some days of messaging, when the emergency state was imposed in France and she realized she will not get other guests, she accepted my offer to pay a small additional amount and finalized the booking. Great one night stop

"Excellent facilities and location. No plastics cups / bottles. I asked for fresh milk for tea and promptly received a jug full and able to use fridge in room to keep it fresh. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Only slight let down was the restaurant; it was open but even at 1900 there was no-one around and it looked closed, even the kitchen was empty so had to eat in the town nearby"
