"Restoration of a beautiful property with lovely garden, attractive room with a beautiful view, and a host who provided a wonderful breakfast. Much effort and time was put into this B&B. This was a delightful way to begin our Normandy trip! "

"Large rooms and concierge was helpful but; minimal furnishings, hard bed with a blanket placed under a sheet, no Hoyt water in bathroom, which had a hand only shower in the bath and the area around the taps mouldy. Also the hotel was miles away from the nearest restaurants so, as we came on bicycles we had to pay a very expensive taxi each way."

"My husband and I stayed at La Salamandre and we really loved this place! The location is quiet and just a few minutes walk from the main town square. The owner was very friendly, our room was incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was included and it was great….all the usual options (fresh pastries, coffee, juice, fruit, cereals, yogurt, etc). There is also an outside patio which is nicely set up with a bar but we did not have time utilize it unfortunately. Next time for sure!! "

"It was our last night in France. We wish we could have stayed more nights. We stayed in a house with 3 bathrooms and two bedrooms. Comfortable beds. Everything was great. We dine at their restaurant."

"This hotel has been refurbished since we last stayed 2 years ago. The rooms are now fresh and modern, and there is new carpeting throughout. There were many diners in the Indian restaurant (although not us as we had already eaten). Breakfast was good and plentiful. Will stay again on our way home."
