"This is a great place to stay if you’d like to visit Costa Rica and really experience the city in a way tourists don’t usually get to. Warren was a fantastic host and will help you find whatever you are looking for. He was even available to take us on tours out of the city, all you have to do is negotiate a price (he was as good as any tour guide and less pricey!) I loved the stay there and was very thankful to find this hidden gem."

"Beautiful property and wonderful hosts! This was the best - and least expensive - accommodation during our two week stay in Costa Rica. Fernando’s breakfasts were delicious, the room was spacious and lovely - with a large jacuzzi! - and it was relatively easy to find. We felt like we were on a country estate."

"It was so horrible very small ugly old fashioned and with staircase that I couldn't stay because i have problem with walking and problem with my back. So I had to go and look for a more better place. They said they understand and will return my money paid to them up to dat my money is not embourse to me. And they said the will. "I want a full refund for Casa Memo! My other accomodations (The Backyard Hotel and Hotel Santo Tomas) were excellent as advertised. Hotel Casa Memo a disaster. We informed the hotel prior to booking of our late arrival, and upon arrival at SJO, our Rental Car Company called the motel informing that we would be later, 0030 hours. We downloaded the directions for Hotels.com and also used our GPS. It directed us to the location of Avenida 4 and Calle 3. There we did not find the hotel, no sign...

"This property was amazing , beautiful setup . Street that it was on was very empty not much traffic. Police do casual just stroll pass but it makes you feel really safe!!! Only downside is reception doesn’t speak English , they are very kind but you will need translation app if you or your group doesn’t speak Spanish. You do need reservation for jacuzzi but that can be booked downstairs in lobby. I would definitely stay again"
