"The biggest issue that I had was the information that I received about the bus was totally misleading . It says there is a bus down the street… it’s a 10-15 min walk. Oh and it only comes 2-3 times a day and forget about getting back there on the bus. So 1/2 of us came unprepared to rent a car. You must have a car unless you don’t plan on leaving. I can tell you a cab will come and pick you up, the one way trip to Santa Maria Novella is @ 70-80 euro per cab. We could fit 4-6 people and the fee...

"The spaces are great for larger groups to have space away and privacy for breaks. The pool and outdoor dining area was amazing. As expected, water pressure in these older homes can be inconsistent, but was not a problem. The home is a bit away from major highways, so day trips were a little more local driving, but didn’t limit us. Host family is nearby for support, but non intrusive and very accommodating. We had a wonderful dinner prepared our final night and everything was very hospitable."

"This is a fantastic place. The beauty of the property and surrounding mountains and valleys is stunning. Once there you almost don´t want to leave for any day trips. Usually pictures are better than the reality. This time it was the other way around. And the pics already were great. The pool on the property is golden. Really clean and nice. Then when we left, they gave us the most thoughtful gift to remember our vacation. "Beautiful villa only 2.5 miles from center of Lucca, but felt worlds away. Situated in a quiet residential neighborhood, it was conveniently placed close to local amenities (grocery store, etc.). Wonderful outdoor sitting/eating areas and local Osteria (5’ walk) was excellent (had dinner there twice in 4 days). Local church bells tolling on the hour just added to the charm of the setting! "We are big coffee drinkers and found that once we figured out how to use the Moka pots, we thoroughly enjoyed our morning coffee while overlooking the countryside. Travel to Montespertoli for a quick gelato or bite to eat was quite easy, so even though the property is wonderfully private, it is not too far from things to do. Overall, we had a fantastic vacation with memories to last a lifetime!"
