"The experience was phenomenal. My wifey & I took our first trip after a decade and decided to stay over Vivanti Resort. The property was safe , accommodation & customer service A , I was surprised that AC was not part of the facility due to the wonderful weather with the Mother Nature, after all wasn’t necessary. It is an adult only hotel. I don’t recommend nobody to come with kids or minor. The pool area was great as well , but not for kids at all. Overall definitely in the future we can choose Vivanti as one of our Goto places in Guatape , Medellin. "

"The map on expedia is incorrect. This hotel is not in downtown guatape. It's a 10 minute ride away. However, 1) the hotel will call you a cheap tuktuk 2) you would have to tuktuk to the piedra anyway 3) there are tons of tuktuks in the town to bring you back. Just make sure you have pesos! There are ATMs in town. Although I was initially sad I couldn't walk out and explore the town, in the end I was very glad to have the peace and quiet (and lake access). Also, the hotel delivers food to your door! Other great things: 1. The staff are so kind and welcoming. I came during the week and had the place to myself. They were patient with me as I practiced my spanish. They give you a whatsapp number and you just text when you have a question.. amazing service! 2. The dog on the property is very chill and sweet. 3. I loved the free paddleboard /kayak access. 4. The views from the room were incredible. 5. I always felt very safe on the premise (and in the town) 6. The massage was amazing and very reasonable. "

"The adress listed in the email I got was wrong we end up in the wrong place after I was charge over 300.000 pesos for transportation we call the hotel staff then told me over the phone that my reservation was cancel ask me what time I did it I told her I day before and then she told me she did cancel cause the room we book some people came in the morning and she never acepted my booking but I dint get a cancelation email either after lost my trip there we end up booking in a diferent place as that one cancel actually she said she never confirm it with us but I never did get q email with a cancellation from them was really disappointing as it was a long trip and I was with a newborn will never book here again "
