"A charming little place in the historical part of Salerno. Very convenient to get anywhere. There is a public elevator just in front of the main door which makes it easier to go up but there is an access via the stairs as well. The communication with Marco was smooth and friendly. "Of the 4 rentals during our Italian adventure - this property had too many requirements, for example, even though paying a cleaning fee - we had to clean the apartment, take out trash daily and had trouble with the showers not working. "This is a great location from where to explore the Amalfi Coast, away from the busy tourist areas. It is clean and well equiped. It is on the 2nd floor, but there is a lift available. There is a bus stop virtually outside the property and a train station only a few minutes walk. A supermaket is only a short walk away. It is easy to get to the beach by bus to Vietri or Salerno. Riccardo is so helpful, a dream owner; always a phone call away. He lives on the first floor, and nothing is too much...

"Property was ok. Think more needs to be made of the internal stairs going to flat. They are very deep and steep. We were all over 75 and managed them but with luggage it was daunting. We stayed 10 days and would have appreciated clean sheets and towels half way through. Very little in the way of cleaning materials for kitchen and bathroom. We had to request a broom and mop. "This property was wonderful and Stefania was a great host. We loved Salerno so much that we booked an extra night at the last minute. Stefania allowed us early check and her family met us and helped walk our luggage to the apartment. The coffee/drinks/snacks were a huge plus! The area around the apartment had great food (highly recommend Al Dente!) and night life. Only down fall to this apartment was the neighbors dog who barked at every passerby. Still fully recommend this stay! "
