"We had a fabulous stay at Tursimo Rurale Cozzo di Papaleo. Giorgio and team were very hospitable. The rooms were well appointed and meals were great. It’s a great base to expire Ragusa area. "

"Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Gorgeous pools. Must be great when it’s hot. Liked the jazz music - a good fit. Food was good but a little repetitive. I longed for insalatas but none were ever served. It’s an Agriturismo - Salades from the garden."

"There's not a lot of hotels in Caltagirone to choose from. Even so, this one is worth a night or two if you are going to the town itself or even Villa Romana. The rooms are clean, comfortable and bathrooms seem well maintained. Best reason to go though is the outstanding dinner and wine from the owners vineyard. Overall a nice experience."

Quiet headland location, Scoglitti village 10 mins drive with basic amenities nice grocers and bakers etc. No tourists in October. Informal and simple lifestyle for a chill out. "We had a wonderful time - the bedrooms are all spacious and well appointed and location very peaceful. You need a car as there is nothing within walking distance and the bigger towns are at least 45 min drive but easy to access as are the lovely beaches with their fish restaurants. The owners were fantastic in dealing with any issues - we didn’t hear anything from the agent manager at all during our stay. Perfection

"Wonderful stay in a fabulous location. Our host drove down to the main parking lot and picked us up along with our bags so we didn’t have to climb the stairs. She was lovely - providing a map with where to go/what to do and where to eat. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of local pastries and fresh juice and delicious cappuccinos. Everything was perfect - would definitely recommend a visit to gorgeous Ragusa. "

"The staff was so wonderful and warm to (Jaime Melo and Sal and Nonno Baglieri) special gratitude to Ritonela Federico and Biagio. They helped beyond expectation to all our needs. Changing of room was done immediately and smoothly. We all felt so welcomed and would promote this great Family resort to everyone who appreciates peace and quiet and amazing staff. Breakfast was an abundance of great fresh food and baked goods, all that one would expect and some. Us Canadians are so grateful. Thank you fresh"

"A lovely well situated boutique hotel in Ragusa, overlooking the main square and steps from everything in the walking area of this scenic and historic old town. A converted former mansion whose young owner takes pride in explaining the challenges she overcame in renovating the historic palazzio. Personal artistic touches are everywhere and the owner takes great care in describing, preparing and even joining her staff in serving up a beautiful Sicilian breakfast daily. A perfect bed & breakfast experience —and the best we had in Sicily!"
