We spoke to Vrbo prior to speaking to the host. The host tracked me down through WhatsApp and communicated directly. She was hostile and kept arguing that we had done her harm. We stayed here for 5 nights in early August and it was perfect Beautiful location among the hills, private pool and bbq facilities, everything you need Things to note - the nearest shop is about a 15 minute drive away and the drive is not for the faint hearted! We got lost on the way because we didn’t use the right link that the hosts provided for us Other than that if you want to fall in love with Italy in a stunning location then stay here! Easy...

"Absolutely wonderful. It was what I imagined a Tuscan Villa would be and more. It is private with spectacular views. The inside is roomy and comfortable with beautiful vaulted wood ceilings throughout. The kitchen was well equipped with everything I could think of. The pool is great with a gate that keeps children safe. The terraces with cushioned seating were perfect for lounging. The beds were very comfortable. Nice washer and clothes line. Highly recommend."

"What a beautiful location. Perfect for day trips to all the Tuscan attractions and towns. Less than 5 minute drive to Montecarlo where you can find some lovely restaurants. Grocery shopping is close by as well. Luigi and Franca were awesome. Luigi went out of his way to educate us on where to go in Tuscany and shared much about his interesting life history. Don't miss Franca's most amazing tiramisu. Sorry I didn't get the recipe!"

"Beautiful well appointed flat in the middle of Lucca! Steps away from all of th sites and sounds of the city! Kitchen, terrace, bedrooms /bathrooms were all pristine! Only complaint was contractors on scaffolding right outside the terrace and kitchen windows…..and the elevator was out of service for a 5th floor flat. A pre-arrival notification would have been appreciated as we would have attempted to find an alternate location without the walk up."
