Great condo
My husband and i stayed here for a week in January and had a wonderful time. Great view and location, close to everything. You could even walk everywhere you needed to go. Thanks for a great vacation!

Great location
Perfect home base for exploring the area. Many restaurants and beaches within walking distance. Lovely ocean breeze kept the apartment cool. Beautiful view from the balcony.

Great location and beautiful view of the ocean. Walk out the back gate and you're on the beach. Gated entrance with attendant and keys to access the building and gate to beach. Would definitely stay there again.

This was a great location for access to Luquillo Beach, Playa Azul, La Pared and some great restaurants. Wifi worked great and there were fun beach items to use. Could hear the waves while I slept. Thank you!

Great location and condo!
My daughter and I enjoyed our stay here. The view was spectacular and the location was convenient to many sights. The condo was perfect for the two of us and well-equipped. We appreciated all the beach towels and beach equipment. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals in. The beds were comfortable and we loved listening to the ocean waves at night.

This spot was perfect for us, a senior couple from NH. Kitchen had all the necessary tools, the view of the beach clear from the balcony. We spent a lot of time looking at the ocean from the balcony. Building felt secure, and all the folks we met were friendly and helpful.

Playa Azul
This is not a new building, so don't expect any high end appliances or fixtures. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable with plenty of linens and the shower worked well. The view from the balcony was incredible! The beach and pool were amazing and there was tons of activities close by. Would stay again. AND, the clock on the microwave was actually set to the right time(what!?!)

Spectacular view
Most of our time at the condo during the day was spent on the balcony since the ocean and beach view was the wonderful. The complex staff were always, friendly supportive and helpful. The under used pool sometimes felt like my private one. Easy access to restaurants and groceries. A lazy and very enjoyable month spent with my husband.

This was a great, clean condo literally steps from the local beach. It has an incredible sea view from the private balcony and everything you need to enjoy a day at the beach - boogie boards, sand toys, chairs, towels, etc. The kitchen was fully equipped - all we had to do was make a quick trip to the grocery store which was just a 10 minute walk away. Easy walk down to the Luquillo plaza with several great restaurants. A little bit longer 20 minute walk over to the larger Luquillo beach and its food kiosks, or a 5 minute drive. If you walk to the kiosks and it gets dark, be prepared to call a taxi because it gets REALLY dark to walk home. The owner was quick to respond to our questions and the building security were friendly and helpful.

Great location, not the best cleaning
This place had a great location right across from the beach. The property was really safe and had nice common areas. While the property was a bit out of date, the low price made up for that. However, the actual condo fell short for us due to poor cleaning. When we ate our first breakfast, we found loads of dirty dishes - like every dish we took out of the cupboard was dirty. So we spent way too much time on vacation washing dirty dishes. Also, the shower wasn't very clean when we got there and there were plenty of dust bunnies everywhere. I think that the property needs a deep cleaning every now and then to avoid this in the future - as many rental properties need.

Good value for the price
For us, everything we needed was there for a reasonably priced week. The pros: 1) beautiful view from the balcony, 2) easy access to beach and pool, 3) the kitchen was well equipped, 4) easy walking distance to restaurants and grocery store. For those looking for a completely updated venue, this might not be for you. The louverd shutters in the bedroom didn't close well, and the fridge and stove were older models, but if you're not a diva, this place would work well for you.

Rust and peeling badly of kitchen appliances. No zipper on insulated bag. Fridge worked good. Bugs in bathroom. Appalled that we had to out toilet paper in the trash. Didn’t see extra bags, went to buy some. Beds comfortable. Air conditioning worked good in bedroom. Should have a tv in there because the living room heat was unbearable. Fans only moved hot air around. Towels/wash cloths/kitchen towels were so old you could almost see through them and they didn’t smell good. Definitely need new ones. Keys were so difficult to use. Took at least 3-5 minutes of twists me and clicking to get it open. Odd that you have to use a key to get out of the room. Security was friendly. Pool was beautiful but didn’t know it is shared by all of properties. View was the only plus. Would not return to this property without proof it had been updated.

Better than we imagined
This property is the perfect stay when going to puerto rico and the condos private beach access is to die for! Beach access literally steps away, we would go almost every night even after a long day. We stayed with two young kids and they had a blast. It was only 10 min from the rainforest and 20 min from ferry to Playa flamenco. San Juan was an hour away but not bad at all. We got to see and do everything we wanted to do with ease. Condo is well stocked and the balcony is very safe with a high railing. Would definitely stay here again.

Super location next to Playa Azul beach!
A great place to stay in a gated residence in Northeast Puerto Rico. Overlooks the palm trees at the edge of a very nice beach for swimming and snorkeling- two minutes' walk from the building. Just a short drive from El Yunque forest, Fajardo attractions, etc. The unit is clean, with A/C in the bedroom, and good internet/some cable access.

Great location and unit but not luxury
Enjoyed this place. Owner has lots of beach chairs/boogy boards/water shoes to use. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals. Bed and bedding comfortable and fresh. Many extra towels etc. Not fancy (rust on refrigerator door, furniture is vinyl and we preferred sitting on towels on it), and I felt a shock from the stove while barefoot. We'd stay here again. This location (Playa Azul Tower I) is great, a highrise that is about half vacation rentals and bilingual security (the entry road is next to the Banco Popular). Elevators have backup generator. The beach is across the street with some trees for shade, the units are solidly built so you hardly hear other people, the balcony is very private. The white noise of the surf softens the occasional barking dog (owners can have pets, not renters) and music from families at the beach. Try snorkeling the shallow reef to the west. Enjoy the ice cream truck; get a loaded baked potato at the Papas truck by Walgreens. Rip tide warnings frequent but you can drive over to the swim beach (pay parking) by the Kioscos just to the west. Or use the pool.
