"My family is so glad that we chose this property for our three-night stay in Bahía Drake! The house was spotlessly clean and included everything that we needed. The beds were comfortable and there were more than enough outlets for charging all of our devices. The Wi-Fi worked well, when we needed it. The outside space is beautiful and comfortable and the view of Drake Bay is absolutely stunning! Getting to Drake Bay wasn’t easy, but once we arrived, we discovered that Binya House was in the perfect location with easy access to everything in town (including the beach from which many of the Corcovado tour boats launch). Things to note:- The host, Debra, and the onsite property manager, José, are incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive.- The home includes gated off-street parking, which is a huge plus given Drake’s narrow streets.- The A/C units are located in both bedrooms. There is a twin bed in the common room (no A/C), but we were easily able to fit it in a bedroom so that we could all sleep with A/C.- Although the listing mentions washer/dryer and they are included in photos of the property, they are no longer available for guest use. However, there is a laundromat right across the street and the caretaker also offered to help us with our laundry.- During our stay, the power to the whole town went out for a couple of hours. The hosts couldn’t control that, but they quickly provided candles and insights to help us stay comfortable.100% recommend!"

"Our stay here was the best part of our time in Costa Rica! A secret paradise, the home and location are superb and the hosts have taken immaculate care to make sure that things are perfect for guests. Pablo and Lucia are sharing a special place with the world by hosting guests at their beautiful home. Not only that, they are also incredibly generous, sharing their knowledge of the area and the wildlife. They were so helpful answering questions before we arrived and also helping us arrange taxis and tours to make sure were using local guides and services. We bought our groceries in Drake Bay and Pablo and Lucia helped us get a taxi from Drake to their place and met us for the short walk in (and helped us carry our groceries!). We didn't eat at the local soda but heard it is good. We watched wildlife out the back door (and even from inside as the creatures are quite at home inside and outside around the house). The fans kept things cool at night and we did use the mosquito nets for the kids but I don't believe they were necessary. We played at the beach and hiked the trail during the days and did both a Caño Island tour and a horse riding tour right from the place and highly recommend both. Pablo and Lucia helped us arrange both. This is a fantastic place to stay and we loved every moment of our time there! "

"Consider this more of a rustic camping-like experience. Cabins have screens, but bugs still come in. Incredible location! Spider monkeys were swinging above our cabin every morning, holwers start up at day break, and capuchins befriended us at the beach. Scarlett macawas everywhere, we saw them constantly, as well as toucans. The beach immediately out front is wavy and rough, but my kids still jumped in the waves daily. The highlight is San Josecito beach, a 17 minute walk along the ocean. It is a calmer bay with a reef and plenty of fish. We swam with a 4-5 foot sea turtle for half an hour. This place was deserted until noon every day. Food was excellent, fresh and traditional. They make fresh fruit juices daily! Staff are very lovely and go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay. It was a very memorable part of our trip and we felt fully immersed in the jungle at ocean forest."

"The staff was very friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. They made using the boats to and from Sierpe quite easy as they answered all questions via whatsapp before we even arrived! We had breakfast and dinner at the restaraunt. Both meals were great! Overall had a great time. The ocean view was definitely a must!"

"Jinetes de Osa is a nice place, run by nice folks. The rooms are spacious and clean. Ours had 4 beds. The room had bars of soap, but no shampoo, conditioner or other amenities. However the biggest miss was knowledge that there are 270 steps to climb to get to the room. The view was spectacular, The restaurant, a separate business, was very good. We booked a tour through the hotel and were very glad we did, we arrived at Corcovado earlier than everyone else and Rolando was the best guide. He was telling the other (younger) guides where to find the animals."
